The IIM CAT 2025 Result was officially declared on December 24, 2025, by IIM Kozhikode. Candidates who appeared for the exam on November 30 can now access their official scorecards through the candidate login portal.
Around 2.58 lakh candidates appeared for the exam this year, with 12 candidates securing a perfect 100 percentile. Notably, 9 of these 100 percentilers are from non-engineering backgrounds.
How to Download Your CAT 2025 Scorecard
To check your result and download the PDF for your admission process, follow these steps:
- Visit the Official Website: Go to iimcat.ac.in.
- Candidate Login: Click on the “Login” or “Registered Candidate Login” button.
- Enter Credentials: Provide your CAT User ID and Password.
- Access Scorecard: Once logged in, click on the “Scorecard” tab on your dashboard.
- Download and Print: Download the official PDF. It is highly recommended to save multiple digital copies and keep a physical printout for the upcoming interview stages.

Expected Category-wise Cut-offs (Qualifying)
While final admission cut-offs for top IIMs (A, B, C) are often above the 98-99 percentile, the general qualifying thresholds for the Common Admission Process (CAP) are expected as follows:
- General: 90+ Percentile
- EWS/NC-OBC: 75-80+ Percentile
- SC: 55+ Percentile
- ST/PwD: 40+ Percentile
What’s Next?
- IIM Shortlisting: The top IIMs (Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Calcutta, etc.) will start releasing their individual shortlists for the Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds in the first or second week of January 2026.
- CAP Registration: Registration for the Common Admission Process (for the 10+ newer IIMs) typically begins in mid-January 2026.
- Non-IIM Applications: Many top B-schools (like FMS Delhi, MDI Gurgaon, and SPJIMR) have separate application windows that may close shortly after results. Check their respective websites immediately.
