3. Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: * Engineering: B.E. / B.Tech in any discipline with minimum 60% marks.
- Science/Arts: M.Sc / MA / MBA / MCA in relevant subjects with minimum 60% marks.
- Specifics: Pilot, Observer, and ATC entries require 60% aggregate in Class 10 & 12 and 60% in English.
- Final Year Students: Eligible to apply if they can provide proof of completing the degree with 60% marks by the time of joining (Jan 2027).
4. Selection Process
The Navy uses a merit-based shortlisting process without a written entrance exam.
- Shortlisting: Based on normalized marks in the qualifying degree (B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc, etc.).
- SSB Interview: 5-day testing process (Stage I & Stage II) at Bangalore, Bhopal, Visakhapatnam, or Kolkata.
- Medical Examination: For candidates recommended by the SSB.
- Final Merit List: Based on SSB marks and medical fitness.
5. Salary & Benefits
- Rank: Sub-Lieutenant
