✅ Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following criteria as of the closing date of application (December 14, 2025):
1. Educational Qualification
- Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
2. Age Limit (As on 14/12/2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years
- Age Relaxation is applicable as per Government rules:
- OBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- Others: As per Central Government norms.
3. Domicile Requirement
- The candidate must possess a valid Domicile Certificate of the State/UT against which they are applying.
- Candidates must also have the ability to read, write, and speak the local language/dialect of the State/UT for which they apply.
📝 Selection Process
The selection process for the IB MTS (G) post involves two Tiers:
Tier 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Type: Objective type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Total Marks: 100
- Duration: 1 hour
- Negative Marking: $1/4$th mark deduction for each incorrect answer.
- Subjects: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability & Reasoning, and English Language.
Tier 2: Descriptive Type Paper (Offline Exam)
- Type: Offline Descriptive Paper.
- Total Marks: 50
- Duration: 1 hour
- Purpose: Measures English language skills, comprehension, vocabulary, and paragraph writing.
- Qualifying Marks: The minimum qualifying mark for Tier 2 is 20 out of 50.
The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2, followed by document verification.
