The MPPSC Food Safety Officer (FSO) Provisional Answer Key 2025 was officially released on December 17, 2025. This release follows the written examination conducted on December 14, 2025, for the recruitment of 67 Food Safety Officers.
Objection Process (Last Date: Dec 21–22, 2025)
If you find any discrepancies in the provisional answers, you must act quickly. The objection window is strictly time-bound:
- Deadline: Objections are typically accepted within 5 days of the link activation. As per recent updates, the window is active until December 21, 2025.
- Fee: Candidates are required to pay a fee of ₹150 per question challenged.
- Documentation: You must provide clear references (Book Name, Author, Edition, and Page Number) for your claim.
- Portal: Objections are only accepted online via the official mppsc.mp.gov.in portal.
Score Calculation & Minimum Qualifying Marks
The written exam consisted of 150 questions (50 for General Studies and 100 for Food Science & Technology) for a total of 450 marks.
Marking Scheme:
- Correct Answer: +3 marks
- Incorrect Answer: -1 mark
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
To be eligible for the next stage (Interview), candidates must score the following minimum percentages in the written exam:
- General (UR): 40% (Minimum 180 Marks)
- SC / ST / OBC / EWS / PH: 30% (Minimum 135 Marks)
Expected Cutoff 2025 (Expert Estimates)
Based on the difficulty level of the December 14 paper and student feedback, the expected cutoff for the Interview shortlist (out of 450) is estimated as follows:

Note: The final merit list will be prepared after adding the 50 marks from the Interview to your written score (Total 500 Marks).
What’s Next?
- Final Answer Key: After reviewing all objections, MPPSC will release a Final Answer Key (usually within 15–20 days). No further objections are allowed after this.
- Result Declaration: The written result (Roll Number-wise PDF) is expected by late January 2026.
- Interview: Qualified candidates will be called for an interview worth 50 marks.
