The total 3,979 posts are divided as follows:
- Ex-ITI Category: 2,843 Vacancies
- Non-ITI Category: 1,136 Vacancies
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Non-ITI Category: Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Additionally, a minimum of 40% marks in Mathematics and Science each is mandatory.
- Ex-ITI Category: Must have passed Class 10 with 50% marks AND possess an ITI Certificate in the relevant trade (recognized by NCVT/SCVT) with at least 50% marks.
2. Age Limit (as of March 03, 2026)
- Minimum Age: 14 Years (18 years for hazardous trades).
- Maximum Age: 35 Years.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC and PwD candidates as per Government of India rules.
Selection Process
The selection is entirely Merit-Based. There is no written examination.
- Shortlisting: * Non-ITI: Based on the percentage of marks in Class 10.
- Ex-ITI: Based on the average percentage of marks in both Class 10 and ITI.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates must present original documents at the respective Ordnance Factory.
- Medical Examination: A fitness test conducted by the factory medical authorities.
